Welcome to this pop-up edition of the Novel Study Book Club! I’ve seen a lot of familiar names signing up, so I know many of you participated in the book club on Patreon last year. I’ve moved everything to beehiiv (I know, I know! the styling is painful to my copyeditor soul too) so it will look and operate a little bit differently, but we’ve also got some new tools to play with.

I'm going to read The Intruder
I’ll report back on the final results in my next email later this week. Personally, I’m going to do a first listen in audio (it’s 8 hours, 19 minutes and it’s included in Spotify Premium, FYI) and then I’ll do my second more detailed read on ebook, although I’ll also check out the print book to see what the design features feel like and how they might affect the experience. Yes, I am a maximalist when it comes to the Novel Study books. (I do not generally read like this, I promise!)
